THE world media attention on the Middle East and Israel has increased dramatically in the past three-plus decades, primarily since Gulf War I in 1990–91. The core issues that fester in this region all share a common thread: prophetic and historical connection in light of Holy Scripture—the biblical Old and New Testaments. As distant thunder heralds the coming storm, so the rumblings of world politics, the proliferation of religious fanaticism, the global explosion of both antisemitism and anti-Zionism, and increasingly violent politically-charged conflicts forewarn of a coming clash with ancient prophecy.

More than ever, we can see hints of the future via shadows of the past and present. This report is an updated and revised follow-up to my book Firestorm: America, Israel, Iraq and Their Prophetic Future (Signet Ring Publishing, 2016). I have been informed that such has been a helpful primer toward comprehending global current events which have particularly occurred over the past decade since its publication.

Indeed, much of what I had previously written has now come to pass or is in mature development, remarkably affirming the biblically prophesied convergences unfolding every day! One need not read the book to digest the forthcoming analysis, although anyone desiring an outlined foundational aspect concerning the historical background and rise of radical/apocalyptic Islam and its part in biblical prophecy can find it in Firestorm’s second and third chapters: ‘Between Iraq & A Hard Place: The Whetting Stone of Prophetic Fulfillment—Parts 1 and 2.’
